Electrical & Automation System Design and Engineering
Most problems in automation projects are designed in long before installation begins: an undersized feeder, a missing interlock, an I/O list that doesn't match the field. Good engineering removes them on paper, where they are cheap to fix.

Overview
Sparsh Automation provides end-to-end electrical and automation design — from feasibility studies through schematics and engineering drawings to integration with your existing systems.
In our brochure“End-to-end electrical & automation design—feasibility studies, schematics, engineering drawings & integration.”

Capabilities
What our service covers
Feasibility studies
Assessment of what is technically achievable, likely scope and the main risks before you commit budget.
Electrical schematics
Power and control schematics, single-line diagrams and interconnection drawings.
Panel engineering
General arrangement, component layout, heat and space considerations, and bill of materials.
Control system design
Control philosophy, I/O lists, network architecture and functional descriptions.
Integration planning
How new equipment connects with existing controllers, drives, SCADA and utilities.
Typical deliverables
- Feasibility notes or design basis
- Single-line diagrams and schematics
- Panel GA and layout drawings
- I/O lists and bill of materials
- Functional description / control philosophy
Final scope and deliverables are agreed in the quotation for each requirement.
Typical applications
- New machines and process lines
- Plant expansions that tie into existing systems
- Automation of manual or relay-based processes
- Retrofit and modernisation projects
Technical considerations
General engineering guidance to help you plan and specify.
- Inputs matter
- Process descriptions, load lists, P&IDs or existing drawings significantly improve the accuracy of design.
- Design ownership
- Agree up front who holds drawing revisions so site changes are captured in as-built documents.
- Standards & specifications
- Share any client or consultant specifications so they are applied from the first drawing.

FAQ
System Design & Engineering: common questions
Can you provide only engineering drawings without manufacturing?
Yes. Design and engineering can be ordered as a standalone service. Many clients also choose to have the same team build and commission the panel.
Can you update old drawings to match what is installed?
Yes. Site surveys to produce as-built drawings are a useful service, especially before a retrofit or when troubleshooting is slowed by inaccurate documentation.
What do you need to start a feasibility study?
A description of the objective, details of existing equipment, any drawings available and your constraints such as shutdown windows or budget.
