General

What does Sparsh Automation do?

We provide industrial automation solutions and manufacture LV electrical panels. Our products include industrial automation systems, LV control panels, HMI/SCADA systems, automation and electrical trading, and obsolete product support. Our services cover system design and engineering, PLC and HMI/SCADA programming, installation and commissioning, VFD repair, maintenance and retrofits.

Where are you located?

Our office is at Plot No. 567, Ground Floor, Sonal Industrial Estate-2, near Suman High School, Udhna, Surat, Gujarat 394210.

Do you handle complete projects or individual tasks?

Both. We can take responsibility from design and programming through panel manufacturing and commissioning, or handle a single task such as a program modification, a panel or a drive repair.

Which brands do you work with?

Our brochure features Siemens, ABB, Schneider Electric, Rockwell Automation, Danfoss, Lauritz Knudsen, Phoenix Contact and Mitsubishi Electric. Listing a brand does not imply an authorised partnership; ask us about a specific product.

Do you work outside Surat?

We are based in Surat, Gujarat. If your site is elsewhere, share its location with your enquiry and we will confirm what support we can provide.

How do I get a quotation?

Use the quote request form, email sales@sparshautomation.in or call +91 92740 00401 / 00402. Include a short description of the requirement and any drawings, part numbers or photos you have.

Can you work on systems installed by another company?

Yes, by arrangement. Access to existing drawings and programs makes troubleshooting, modification and upgrades much faster.

Do you provide documentation with your work?

Documentation such as drawings, program backups and test records is part of a properly delivered project. The exact set is agreed in the quotation.

LV control panels

What types of LV panels do you manufacture?

Our brochure describes custom-designed panels for power distribution and motor control. In practice this includes distribution, motor control, PLC/automation and VFD panels. Share your requirement and we will confirm the right configuration.

Can you build to our consultant's or client's specification?

Yes. Send the specification and drawings with your enquiry. We review them during the quotation stage and raise any clarifications before design begins.

Will we receive drawings with the panel?

Drawings are part of a properly delivered panel. The exact documentation set — schematics, GA, BOM and test records — is agreed in the quotation.

Automation & PLC

Which PLC brands do you work with?

Our brochure lists Siemens, ABB, Schneider Electric, Rockwell Automation and Mitsubishi Electric among the brands in our ecosystem. Share your preferred platform or existing installed base and we will confirm suitability during the requirement study.

Can you automate a machine that currently runs on relays and timers?

Yes. Converting relay logic to a PLC is a common starting point for automation. We study the existing circuits, document the sequence and propose a PLC-based system with an HMI where useful.

Can you modify a program written by someone else?

Yes, provided the program can be accessed. We take a backup first, review the existing logic and make controlled changes.

What if the program is password-protected or not available?

Access to the existing program is needed to modify it. If it is unavailable, options include obtaining it from the original supplier or rewriting the logic based on a study of the machine.

HMI & SCADA

What is the difference between an HMI and SCADA?

An HMI is typically a local operator panel for one machine or area. SCADA is a supervisory software system that collects data from many controllers, provides plant-wide visibility, alarm management and historical data. Many plants use both.

Can SCADA be added to our existing PLCs?

Usually yes, provided the PLCs have a suitable communication port or can be fitted with one. We check controller models and network options during the survey.

Can SCADA generate production or utility reports?

SCADA systems can log process values and present them as trends and reports. The reports you need are defined during scoping so the right data is logged.

VFD repair

Which VFD brands do you repair?

Our brochure lists repair and refurbishment of VFDs from leading brands including Siemens, ABB, Schneider and Danfoss, among others. Share your drive model to confirm.

Is VFD repair cheaper than replacement?

Often, particularly for higher-rated or older drives, but not always. After diagnosis we share the repair estimate and tell you if replacement makes more sense.

How long does a VFD repair take?

It depends on the fault and parts availability. We give an expected timeline with the estimate.

What should I send with the drive?

The brand, model, rating, fault codes, a description of what happened and, if possible, a parameter backup.

Retrofits & obsolete parts

Can we upgrade the PLC without changing the field wiring?

Often a large part of the field wiring can be retained. The survey identifies what can stay and what must change.

How do you keep downtime short?

By preparing panels and programs off-site, testing them in advance and planning the cut-over in detail before the shutdown.

Can you find a PLC module that is no longer manufactured?

We try to source discontinued items for urgent needs. Availability depends on the model, so share the exact part number and photos and we will confirm what is possible.

Is it better to repair or replace an obsolete unit?

It depends on how critical the machine is, how scarce spares are and your plans for the equipment. We explain the trade-offs and help you choose.
